Herbed Chevre Spread

Ingredients

  1. 6 oz goat cheese
  2. 8 oz non-fat cream cheese
  3. 1/4 c  non-fat plain yogurt
  4. 1    garlic clove, crushed
  5. 1/2 t  dried thyme
  6. 1 T  chopped chives
  7. A dash of cayenne pepper – (optional)
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Freshly ground black pepper – to taste

Preparation method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until thoroughly incorporated.
  2. Scoop the mixture into a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until chilled and slightly stiffened.
  3. Serve with toast, crackers, or fresh raw vegetables for dipping.
