Kapuska & Kielbasa
Ingredients
- 2 lb sauerkraut
- 1 water
- 1 pinch of sugar
- 1 bay leaf (optional)
- 1 12 oz can of beer (optional)
- 3 to 4 strips of bacon (optional)
Preparation method
- Kapuska (Sauerkraut) and Kielbasa Simmer sauerkraut, sugar, and optional ingredients with kielbasa (it doesn’t say how much) for about 20 minutes.
- Some fresh cabbage may be added in place of sauerkraut. But usually not more than 1/3 the amount of sauerkraut being used.
