Tuna Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups macaroni noodles, cooked
1/2 cup white onion, finely chopped
1/3 cup butter
1 6-ounce can tuna, rinsed and drained
3/4 cup milk
1 can cream of celery or mushroom soup
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation method
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions, rinse and drain. Rinse pot and place cooked noodles back into pot.
3. In a small skillet, sauté onions in butter over medium-low heat. Add tuna, milk, soup and sautéed onions to macaroni, mix well. Place mixture into a 2 quart baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cover and bake for 25 minutes.
