Turkey and Bow-Tie Pasta

Ingredients

  1. 1/4 c  + 1 tablespoon flour
  2. 2 c  skim milk
  3. 1 c  dry white wine
  4. 1 t  Italian seasoning
  5. ds pepper
  6. 1 lb turkey kielbasa or smoked – turkey sausage cut into – 1/2-inch slices
  7. 1    Package (10 ounces) frozen – mixed vegetables thawed and – well drained
  8. 6 oz bow-tie pasta cooked – according to package – directions and drained
  9. 1 t  poppy seeds

Preparation method

  1. Over medium heat, in medium saucepan combine flour and milk. Add wine, Italian seasoning and pepper, stirring until smooth. Over medium heat cook mixture until thick and bubbly, stirring constantly.
  2. Fold in sliced turkey sausage, vegetables, and cooked pasta; reduce heat to medium-low and cook 5 to 8 minutes or until heated throughout.
  3. To serve, top pasta mixture with poppy seeds.
