Ingredients
- 1/4 c + 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 c skim milk
- 1 c dry white wine
- 1 t Italian seasoning
- ds pepper
- 1 lb turkey kielbasa or smoked – turkey sausage cut into – 1/2-inch slices
- 1 Package (10 ounces) frozen – mixed vegetables thawed and – well drained
- 6 oz bow-tie pasta cooked – according to package – directions and drained
- 1 t poppy seeds
Preparation method
- Over medium heat, in medium saucepan combine flour and milk. Add wine, Italian seasoning and pepper, stirring until smooth. Over medium heat cook mixture until thick and bubbly, stirring constantly.
- Fold in sliced turkey sausage, vegetables, and cooked pasta; reduce heat to medium-low and cook 5 to 8 minutes or until heated throughout.
- To serve, top pasta mixture with poppy seeds.
