Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 T dried onion
- 1 T chili powder
- 1 t paprika
- 1/2 t cumin
- 1/2 t dried oregano
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t garlic powder
- 1/8 t pepper
- 10 Taco shells
- 1 to 2 Tomatoes chopped
- 2 to 3 Cups lettuce shredded
- 2/3 c cheddar cheese grated
Preparation method
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine turkey, onions, chili powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
- Cook for 7 to 8 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink.
- Spoon into taco shells; top each taco evenly with tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese.
- Other optional toppings include: taco sauce, sour cream, guacamole, chopped or sliced olives and chopped onions.
